Social responsibility is an important priority in the activity of NAT Kazakhstan Company

Growing kazakhstan business has its own kind traditions nowadays. And social orientedness is the most important among them. Thus, on December2, 2009 there was a republican contest on social business responsibility “Paryz” in which Mr.Nursultan Nazarbayev, Head of the State, took part.

Stimulation of subjects of private business of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the decision of social problems, both for the workers and for a society as a whole was the main objective of the given action.

JSC «NAT Kazakhstan» took active part in the given contest and submitted materials on “Best socially responsible enterprise” nomination.

Under given nomination there were considered documents of the applicants who had good results within the limits of internal social responsibility, successfully realizing social programs directed to support of own personnel.

For the given nomination the estimation was based on the following characteristics:
∙ the characteristics reflecting presence of a social package, an industrial traumatism, international standards, memorandums on preservation of workplaces and realization of a social project as well as creation of new workplaces, youth employment etc.;
∙ the characteristics reflecting expenses of the enterprise on sponsorship and charity.

It is necessary to notice that the contest made a desirable resonance in a business society of the country, and it proved once again that nowadays, corporate social responsibility is perceived not only as a charity, but also as a voluntary contribution of business to society development.

Meeting in PMClub format
Club of design managers of Astana has again renewed its work after a long working vacation.
The club has been established in 2007 for alive relationship, exchange of professional knowledge and experience between experts of the various companies interested in expansion of their knowledge in the sphere of projects management. About 20 participants are registered now in the club. Many of clubmen have the international certification in the field of projects management (IPMA) confirming their competence and successful experience of design activity.

Thus, on December 23, 2009, in the office of JSC«NАТ Kazakhstan», in a habitual “evening” format and friendly conditions, participants of PMClub, Astana have gathered.
Prospects of club development as well as creation of kazakhstan internet-platform/portal on projects management for advancement of its participants as business professionals have been considered at the meeting. Huge interest has been paid to Prince2, the survey presentation on methodology of projects management which has been prepared and presented by Ms.Elena Dianova, the manager of the services department on projects management of JSC«NАТ Kazakhstan».

The representatives of JSC«NAT Kazakhstan», EPAM Systems, JSC”NIT”, JSC “ERP-Service” “KazTransCom ”have took part in the meeting. And it is very pleasant that new active participants join the club as well.

All participants of the club are of some kind of “volunteers” and probably for this reason there is always special friendly atmosphere prevails in the club with special interest to words, knowledge, to each participant who presents the regular report. Here everyone can speak out on a sore theme, to ask a question and to receive an answer.

The meeting has once again shown that participants of club are united by common aims and often they face with the same problems. And if in the course of work, someone among them finds a new, more optimal method of solution of a workplace issue, undoubtedly, he will impart his knowledge with other participants of the club in the nearest «design evening».
