The Head of State participated in the International Summit on Information Technologies
On November 27, 2009 the President of the Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in the International Summit on Information Technologies titled “Let’s connect the CIS space” and spoke to the participants. It was informed by the press service of the Head of State.
“Kazakhstan attaches great importance to strengthening cooperation between the CIS member states to establish a common information space”, - Nursultan Nazarbayev emphasized.
The important points of cooperation the Head of State called the joint access to the international IT-market, unification of efforts within the customs union to promote information technology in the application of common standards, the establishment of efficient and competitive information products.
Nursultan Nazarbayev invited the summit participants to take part in the implementation of major high-tech projects in Kazakhstan, carrying out joint research investigations in the field of communications and IT-technologies.
